This area of Gwynedd, North Wales has many Tourist Attractions and is renowned for its outstanding scenery and natural beauty.   There is something for everyone to enjoy.   To name but a few Mount Snowdon or Mountain Biking at Coed y Brenin for the adventurous, the outstanding Castles of Harlech, Criccieth, Caernarfon and Conway.   Llechwedd Slate Caverns and Sygun Copper Mine are all of great interest.

There are flat sandy beaches at Talybont, Barmouth, Dyffryn Ardudwy, and nearby Harlech.  The whole Family can have fun at nearby Shell Island where there are hundreds of different shells to be found.  The seaside town of Barmouth is approximately 3 miles south of Talybont and offers a picturesque harbour, sandy beaches also a selection of Shops, Bars and Restaurants.

There are various narrow gauge railways including the Ffestiniog Railway which runs from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog.  Fairbourne and Barmouth Steam Railway and Ferry. Fly, Course and Sea Fishing available in the area.  Portmeirion Village famouse for its' pottery and the TV series "The Prisoner".  There are varous beautiful Gardens and Parks to visit in North Wales, Bodnant Garden being just one of them.

There are plenty of Coastal and Mountain walks availabe nearby.  Also picturesque cycle path routes, horse riding and a choice of golf courses.
